An intraoral
camera is small fibre-optic device that can be placed into the mouth to allow a detailed
examination of the dental tissues. The area can be magnified, shown to
you and the image can be digitally stored for future reference. This tool is valuable
in the treatment planning stage and evaluation of treatment after it has been completed.
As the system is digital, the images are instantly displayed on the computer monitor.
These images may be modified to demonstrate cosmetic treatments on
the computer screen before they are undertaken.
